Deena's expertise is at the intersection of two domains: biological contributions to cognitive changes in healthy aging and cognitive changes after cerebrovascular events and brain disorders.

Deena also has clinical training as an occupational therapist and has experience with acute inpatient populations, community integration following acquired brain injury, and outreach care with children with severe neurological disorders.
